Take the first step with confidence.
We understand that reaching out for help takes courage.
We’re here to honor that.
Our admissions process is clear, compassionate, and designed with your needs in mind. From your first inquiry to your arrival at our Santa Fe or Taos location, our dedicated, multidisciplinary team will guide you through each stage.
When it comes to rehab admissions, here’s what you can expect:
Recovery starts with a phone call. Our experienced admissions team will listen to your story with compassion and understanding.
We’ll talk about what brings you to treatment, answer your questions, and help you understand your options for care. This initial conversation helps us understand how we can best support you or your loved one.
Navigating insurance coverage shouldn’t add stress to your journey. Our team works directly with your insurance provider to verify your benefits and explain your coverage clearly. We’ll help you understand any out-of-pocket costs and discuss payment options if needed.
Once we’ve verified your insurance, our clinical team conducts a thorough assessment to understand your specific needs.
We’ll discuss your history of substance use, any co-occurring mental health challenges, medical conditions, and previous treatment experiences. This helps us create a treatment plan that’s tailored to you.
After your assessment, we’ll coordinate your arrival at either our Santa Fe or Taos location. We’ll help arrange transportation if needed and provide a detailed list of what to bring (and what to leave at home). Our goal is to make your transition into treatment as smooth as possible.
Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our care team. We’ll help you get settled, show you around the facility, and introduce you to key staff members. Your first few days focus on adjusting to the program and beginning your personalized treatment plan.
We can’t wait to help you heal.

Absolutely. Addiction doesn’t happen in isolation, and neither should recovery.
At Longview Recovery, we believe family support is crucial for lasting change. We offer family therapy sessions and educational programs to help loved ones understand addiction and mental health, while learning how to support your recovery journey.
We do! Our dual diagnosis program provides integrated treatment for both substance use and mental health challenges. Our experienced team includes mental health professionals who specialize in treating conditions like anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD.
We’re here to help you heal—mind, body, and spirit.
Recovery continues long after treatment ends. We’ll work with you to create a comprehensive aftercare plan that includes ongoing support, therapy referrals, and connection to recovery resources in your community. Our alumni opportunities help you stay connected to the Longview Recovery family.
